In its traffic advisory for Tuesday, the South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd (SANRAL) has advised motorists that the R61 Section 5, between Komani (Queenstown) and Cofimvaba, has a 550-meter gravel bypass section is currently open for two-way traffic.
“The temporary gravel bypass was constructed to ensure two-way traffic while the culvert construction continues,” SANRAL said.
“Motorists are advised to use caution when making use of the road and to plan their trips accordingly.”
