Wedding and Function, first published in 2001, has recently launched a new website. Having served its name sake industries for many years throughout South Africa, the new website marks a new direction for this very useful publication.

Wedding and Function has a very strong online presence
Wedding and Function was initially a print publication only with regional magazines throughout the country.
When digital media appeared they were one of the first publishers to make extensive use of social media and other forms of online marketing such as a monthly email newsletter sent to their dynamic subscriber database.
“Our latest website helps ensure that our clients have improved search engine results for both their own website and for their listings on our website. Bridal parties will be able to source the service provider they want and need more easily,” says Alison.
Although their regional magazines remain very popular, Wedding and Function knows full well that most brides make extensive use of the internet.

Alison adds, “Having a website is all very well but it must have high SEO to pop up in search results. Our new website uses all the best practices to ensure that our SEO is very good.”
The website also provides high quality dofollow backlinks to Wedding and Function’s clients. Digital citations are also provided to assist clients with improving their presence on Google Maps and My Business Listings.
