Nurse2U is a coronavirus testing organization that will conduct the tests in your home or at your place of work.
They have recently opened an office in the Winelands and service Stellenbosch, Somerset West, Paarl and other towns in the region.
A major advantage of Nurse2Us service is you will be given your test results almost immediately.
The testing is conducted by a qualified nurse and who uses a standard Q Covid – 19 AG test. This is the only rapid test to be approved by W.H.O.
How to book a test
If you reside or work in this area simply call 079 268 0409 or email nurse2uwinelands@gmail.com. You will be given the earliest possible available time slot and a nurse will arrive at your home at the set time.
The nurses are trained in the use of the Q Covid – 19 AG test and wear the necessary protective clothing.
The cost of a home test is R750 and is reduced to R650 if three or more people are tested in the same home. Please request a quotation for a corporate test.
They also do PCR tests for those traveling abroad. These cost R1250 and are done in association with Pathcare.
What does the test Nurse2U entail?
On arrival, the nurse will require you to complete the necessary paperwork which is similar in nature to what you are required to complete when visiting a new doctor.
The nurse will insert a cotton bud into your nostril and then place the bud on to the testing device. Within a few minutes the device will produce a negative of a positive result.
The whole process – from the time the nurse arrives to their departure and including receiving your result, is less than 20 minutes.
Corporate testing
Should you require your staff to be tested, Nurse2U do offer corporate rates, particularly when a group of staff need to be tested.
Nurse2U can conduct up to 500 Antigen Rapid Test per hour and give instant results. They will also provide a full paper trail and certificates for compliance as well as handle all the paperwork for positive cases.
