Claim little moments with friends and family again by getting the Injection of life

COVID-19

Momentum Metropolitan encourages South Africans to get the Injection of Life by registering on the Electronic Vaccination Data System (EVDS) to get vaccinated so that we can all get back to living our lives and enjoying all the activities that bring us closer to our loved ones.

Momentum Metropolitan opened its fifth vaccination centre in Gqeberha on 12 July 2021. As a reliable vaccination centre provider, the organisation has vaccinated over 130 000 people at their sites across South Africa in Sandton, Centurion, Umhlanga, and Cape Town. The Gqeberha vaccination centre is located at the Centenary Methodist Church Hall, at the corner of Edward and Stanley streets, Richmond Hill and is operational between 08:00 and 16:00 from Monday to Friday. All South Africans with or without medical aid need to register on the EVDS portal to be eligible for a vaccine and visit the vaccination centre to which they are allocated on the given date and time.

Alternatively, after registering on the EVDS portal, South Africans now have the option to book an appointment at one of the five Momentum Metropolitan vaccination centres located across South Africa. By clicking here, they will be able to select their preferred site, and the date and time that suits them, for their COVID-19 vaccine.

We encourage people to see the COVID-19 vaccine as an Injection of Life that gives hope to a pandemic-free world. The country’s socioeconomic normality is relying on everyone to get vaccinated – the more people get vaccinated the quicker we are able to reach population immunity and beat the pandemic in the country.

“Being vaccinated means that we can get back to the little moments in life we missed the most – get vaccinated and start going back to living. Vaccination against COVID-19 is the only way to get back to our lives, and back to rebuilding our economy. The Injection of Life is a reminder about the possibilities of our future post this health crisis. We will continue to prioritise the elderly and those with co-morbidities, as they are the most vulnerable on all of our vaccination sites. We aim to ensure that we reach population immunity within the shortest timeframe,” says Damian McHugh, Executive at Momentum Health Solutions.
