Nolubabalo Babsi Mcinga is appointed Country Director for Timeless Women of Wonder Africa

Nolubabalo Babsi Mcinga

Businesswoman and publisher, Nolubabalo Babsi Mcinga, has been appointed SA Country Director for Timeless Women of Wonder Africa, with effect from May 5th, 2021.

Her immediate role is to accelerate the deployment of the Group’s strategy locally.

Mcinga takes over the position from Lizelle Maurice, who has been South Africa’s Country Director since 2019.

For 2021, TWOW confirmed the increase of membership up by more than 40% with a vision to empower women, youth and SMEs of South Africa to grow their incomes and increase in impact for their communities, institutions and the nation of South Africa.

With the appointment of Nolubabalo Babsi Mcinga , the CEO and Board confirms the Movement’s strategic ambition of the TWOW 2021 plan, with the focus being on economic recovery of South Africa’s women, SMEs and Youth.

In this regard, the Group will communicate more precisely on the update of its strategic plan at the end of the first half of 2021.

The decision to appoint Babsi Mcinga as country Director comes at a time when the outgoing Country Director, Lizelle Maurice transitions to a new position with Border-Kei Business Chamber in South Africa as CEO.

The work accomplished by Lizelle Maurice throughout her leadership at TWOW resulted in the establishment of the Network in South Africa and positioning SMEs and Women to access opportunities to grow.

Mcinga, joined TWOW in January 2019 as a member. Her international relations is characterized by strong global mobility, particularly in the SADC Region, contributing to her ability to adapt and succeed in different cultures.

She is also a Philanthropist, Publisher of NTU News, CEO of M&C Business Solutions, a Strategic Partner of Alata-Gold (Ghanna), Film Executive Producer and the founder of “Meeting the Challenge in Business” annual forum.
