Swissvax is a family owned, Swiss based company started in 1930. As a proud Swiss company, they maintain the highest of standards in the manufacturing of their automobile, boat and aircraft care products.
Like many other unique products, the first waxes were originally created on the family’s kitchen table. Hans Anwander, the grandfather and founder of Swissvax owned a pharmacy in Zurich called “Anwander”. It was in this drugstore that Mr Anwander perfected the first jars of carnauba wax which would later become Swissvax.
A family business with a passion for automobiles, boats and planes
Mr Anwander created his first car waxes by hand for his personal automobile. Thanks to its brilliant shine the demand for his waxes increased.
Swissvax products are still made exclusively by hand in their wax factory and filled jar by jar. The highly complicated formulations do not allow for an industrial production.
The corner stone of Swissvax is that they do not compromise on quality.
The Swiss reputation for quality and precision is reflected in all their products and, now in their thrird generation of family ownership, the family’s passion for automobiles, boats and planes has not diminished.
