Hopewell Private Game Reserve has recently upgraded their website to better reflect the Five Star offering of this unique game reserve.
Offering unbridled luxury and quiet exclusivity in a unique environment, the game reserve wished to place these qualities in the spotlight.
Located off the R72 between Port Elizabeth and Alexandria, Hopewell Private Game Reserve is uniquely located between the coastal dune system, Alexandria Forest and the Valley Bushveld that is typical of the Eastern Cape.
The owners of the reserve have done an enormous amount to rehabilitate the farm land and to reintroduce species that disappeared from this area 200 hundred years ago.
Hopewell Lodge and the surrounding Luxury Suites (to be linked to the new accommodation page), built to have a minimum impact on the environment, are equal to the best accommodation on offer in the region.
As only a relatively low number of guests can stay at the lodge at any one time, these guests are able to experience exclusivity. The peace and tranquility of this reserve is not disturbed by large herds of humans in game viewing vehicles.
The reserve is home to Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo and a wide variety of other species that inhabit the mix of grassland and forest. The dense grassy valleys are unique to this part of the Eastern Cape and the new website brings this important differentiating factor in to focus.
