Syndication Partners Required for Retail Census in Mozambique and Uganda

Syndication Partners (1920 x 1080 px)

Frontline Research Group are planning to conduct a census of retail outlets in Mozambique and Uganda in 2024 and we are inviting companies to partner with us in either or both of these retail census projects.

By syndicating these projects we are able to reduce the overall costs of the census for each syndication partner thereby making the proposition more affordable and achievable.

The census will involve the geomapping and profiling of all relevant outlets as well as gathering data on categories and brands stocked (yours vs your competitors), procurement of stock, size of the outlet, etc.

Mozambique

Frontline Research Group conducted a national retail census in 2017, and in 2018/2019 in Maputo Province and again 2021 amidst the Covid pandemic in Maputo and surrounds. We are looking to start the new census in early 2024.

We are currently working towards a national coverage once again; however provincial coverage is also being considered. We will be focusing on several categories including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and cigarettes, although additional categories can be added, depending on your specific need. We are including most on-and-off trade channels, specifically within the informal sectors.

Uganda

We conducted a national retail census in 2014 and another more focussed census in 2021.

We have noticed significant changes in other countries post-covid and we want to update our retail census data. As with Mozambique our focus will include alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and cigarettes in on-and-off trade channels.

Our census will be conducted in selected districts, based on their population numbers, and income levels. These districts will include all 4 regions within the country.
