Looking for free or inexpensive online courses? TAP is the solution

Virtual Disciplinary Enquiries

The Accelerator Programme (TAP) offers a host of short courses that can accessed online via smart phone, tablet or computer and laptop.

LabourNet has partnered with SpecCon who have created an offering which is affordable to all, while ensuring that quality is not compromised. They have spent many years and many millions of Rands developing this top-class content.

The main objective of the Accelerator programme is to make skills development accessible, relevant and affordable to everyone.

Subscribers will enjoy full access to all of the listed learning development products for a period of one year at a cost of just R100.  The first month is free and it is possible to complete a large number of short courses in this period at no cost. Payments may be made by Credit Card or EFT.

No data costs are incurred as the eLearning platform received a zero-rated status from the major network providers in South Africa.

Every course has questions at the end of the unit and a final examination. Once you have passed the exam (the minimum pass rate is 50%), you can download your certificate. If you choose to do a SETA accredited qualification, SETA will require you to complete additional activities (summative and logbooks) to prove your competency.  There will be an additional assessor and moderator cost associated with this process.

Companies as well as individuals can register on The Accelerator Programme.  Click here to register.
