    Many of the most influential business and institutional leaders will meet in Johannesburg for the 11 th “TEHA CEO Dialogue on Southern Africa”, which will take place on 14-15 November 2024 at the Summer Place (69 Melville Rd, Hyde Park) in Johannesburg.

    The Summit has become the landmark annual event for global, international and South African public and private stakeholders, with the objective to strengthen their strategic relationship, foster in-depth interaction among peers and Government officials and promote joint growth and investment opportunities, stressing the importance of building long-term, fruitful and constructive ties between the business communities operating in Africa.

    The event is organised by the leading global think tank The European House – Ambrosetti (TEHA is the first private Think Tank in Italy, fourth in Europe and among the top 20 globally), in collaboration with the Gauteng Province, GGDA and a selection of international public and private stakeholders, including Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, DHL, Inalca, Musina-Makhado Special Economic Zone, BofA Securities, Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, Italian Trade Agency, Turkish Airlines, Italtile, Brand South Africa.

    Matteo Zoppas (President, Italian Trade Agency) said: “The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) continues its commitment to supporting Italian companies in sub-Saharan Africa with the opening of offices in Kenya, Nigeria, and Senegal. These new offices, in addition to long-established operational units on the continent, complete a network of offices, desks, and observatories now extending to 26 countries. Among the noteworthy initiatives, in line with the Mattei Plan, is the collaboration with The European House -Ambrosetti
    and participation in the 11th edition of TEHA CEO Dialogue on Southern Africa, a key event for exchange with South African stakeholders and those from the entire region. In continuity with previous editions, during the 2024 edition, ITA office in Johannesburg, in collaboration with the ITA network in Africa, will organize and coordinate a session of bilateral meetings between Italian companies and local businesses from South Africa, Angola, and Mozambique. These meetings will focus on sectors of strategic importance—clean energy, agribusiness, and infrastructure—that offer significant growth opportunities, both for the local market
    and for export”.
